This topic was recently started on Discord, and I think its a good idea to discuss it here.
Here is whats up:
Currently if a building gets damaged in war, until it gets repaired, it cannot be damaged again, meaning it cannot keep losing levels.
This means that being inactive is kinda rewarded when compared to nations who keep fighting and repairing their buildings.
I am now thinking that we may simply adjust mechanics, so that inactive nations can keep losing their building levels even if they dont repair buildings.
There may be other solutions, its just something that crossed my mind first.

I like this idea, perhaps restrict the amount possible per war though to not make it way too powerful of a tool by attacking nations

My concern is if we nerf this protection too much it could harm defenders who are outmached and understand value in turtle strategy waiting for wars end.

Maybe with an increased bombing stat needed tho to continuously destroy buildings?

I made a little concept for this. After 14 days of not signing in, nations become controlled by computer. We will then have two lists of nations, one list of human players, and one list for computer-controlled nations: Buildings of computer-controlled nations can be destroyed limitless.
