Hey all - one of the largest game updates just went online!
Here is what's up:
Infrastructure
Every building has minimum infrastructure requirements in order for it to function at maximum capacity.
In case there is less infrastructure than whats required in the country, production output will be reduced accordingly (similarly like with the population).
Nations can level up their infrastructure up to level 10,000.
Infrastructure levels increase nation's money income.
It would be simply abstracted measurement of nations' general infrastructure, presented with infrastructure levels, meaning we wont be buying roads and bridges individually, but instead, simply levels of infrastructure.
Each infrastructure level adds 0.3 money an hour to your nation.
Each building level requires additional 0.65 infrastructure level.
Each infrastructure level costs 200,000 Industrial Points, 50,000 Social Points and 6,000 Science Points.
Maximum infrastructure level is level 10,000.
Infrastructure is getting damaged in war without any limitations - each 1,000 bombing power destroys 1 infrastructure level.
All existing nations got automatically their required level of infra, plus starting 300 levels that all new nations get, to avoid massive loss of income.
Electric Power
There is a new resource in game: Power.
Power is being produced in Coal Power Plant and Nuclear Power Plant.
Each power plant uses corresponding resources to produce power: coal and uranium.
Power plants take resources from your stock, so it doesnt matter how much coal or uranium your nation produces, as long as there is enough resources in the stocks, power plants will produce power.
This means that you can also buy missing resources from Auction House or Marketplace if your nation does not produce enough of them.
All buildings now have a new stat: Power consumption.
This means, that in order for your buildings to function and produce resources at full capacity, there needs to be enough power available in your nation.
Buildings will also take power directly from your stocks, so you can buy power from other players as well and use it within your nation, in case you are not producing enough of it.
All numbers are something we will use to start with, but they may be changed in the following days, after we see how is everything working live.
