Negative production causes negative tax!

We have seen an example of a nation's power/coal/uranium production becoming negative (and their nation score being negative as a result)

That is explained by Spartan's post in the game-chat discord channel: " Spartan: Power and or coal/uranium are screwed up in bombings"

We also know that money income can be negative, due to military upkeep being more than being produced.

But the same nation that had negative score also had negative IP - interested in the explanation for that (though that is not the bug being reported)

The bug is:

For any resource where the BASE income is negative, any tax rate applied to that nation is also negatively affected.

That is to say - instead of the nation paying tax, they actually extract resources from the alliance bank !!!

I am not aware that base income can be negative.

As far as I know, the lowest base income can be 0 for uranium and coal.
For other resources, the lowest base income is 10.

Your ongoing costs do not change or affect your base income.

Tax is being paid from your base income, on-going costs are not being calculated for this.

If there is a user with negative base income, now thats a bug. Send me a link to their nation in that case-
